Abalder Yulan
Title(s): Der'morat'raken, Captain of the Air, Noble of the Blood.
A small and fiery man. He has very dark skin and wears a black wig on his bald head. A former raken rider, he is now Captain of the Air under Kennar, and hates not being able to ride anymore. He is also good at cards.
Ajimbura
Allegiance: Furyk Karede, The Empress.
Small and wiry, from the Kaensada Hill Tribes. His hair is red with white streaks and is in a thick braid hanging to his waist.
The personal body man of Furyk Karede, he is a half tame human and drinks from a silver mounted skull. He can wait like an Aiel. Ajimbura was nearly killed three times by Karede when he decided to become his servant.
Algwyn
Allegiance: Himself.

The last man to sit on the Crystal Throne approximately 1 NE.
Alivia
Allegiance: Killing Sul'dam.
Slightly taller than Nynaeve, with blue hawk like eyes with fine lines. She has golden hair with a few streaks of white. Collared at 13 or 14 years, she was Damane for 400 years. She was captured in Altara and given to Elayne to deal with. Alivia is considerably stronger than Nynaeve in the One Power. That is, as strong as any Chosen.
Once she realised the Seanchan were not going to appear again, she became very bold, stating she wants to kill Sul'dam. She is now sometimes upsetting Nynaeve's composure, however has little knowledge of the world except how to kill. She is going to help Rand to die.
Almurat Mor
Allegiance: The Empress, The Empire.
Title(s): Seeker for Truth, da'covale.
Slender and good looking. In his middle years, he has yellow hair and blue eyes.
In Falme, the High Lord Turak suspected Suroth was a danger to the Empire and set this man to watch her. He later visited Egeanin in Tanchico, and has since accused her of killing a sul'dam, which she didn't deny. He ordered Bethamin to re-aquaint herself with Egeanin to help lead him to Suroth.
He is trying to link together the odd occurences within the Hailene with Turak's original orders:
--the capture of Egwene by Suroth and her subsequent escape during the battle of Falme;
--the sul'dam that Egeanin captured which then went missing, presumed killed (Bethamin);
--the possible order by Suroth to kill sul'dam who escaped Falme to Tanchico;
--the relationship between Bayle Domon and Turak, and its link to the relationship between Bayle and Egeanin;
--why Egeanin was meeting with Aes Sedai in Tanchico (Elayne and Nyneave);
--whether Suroth now has an uncollared marath'damane as da'covale (Liandrin);
--and whether Mylen or Pura have anything to do with it all.
In short he is following threads both important and peripheral to two discoveries. That Suroth is a Darkfriend, and that sul'dam can learn to channel. As well, he believes that Thom Merrilin is a White Tower spy sent to stir up trouble in Ebou Dar, and has set Furyk Karede on the trail of finding Tuon.
Alwhin
Allegiance: The Empress.
Title(s): Voice of the Blood, Sul'dam.
Blue eyes and sharp features with a tight thin lipped mouth. Anger is her perminant expression.
During the evacuation from Falme, she found Renna and Seta collared and unable to escape. She informed Suroth who promoted her to keep the secret and ensured neither Renna or Seta could be completed again.
After Falme, she was raised from Sul'dam to so'jhin by Suroth and became Suroth's Voice. Her head is now shaved on one side, with the other half of her light brown hair hanging to her shoulder in a braid.
Anath
Allegiance: The Empress.
Title(s): Soe'feia, Truthspeaker.
Very tall with charcoal black skin, large black eyes and short wavy hair. She is imperiously beautiful and scornful of Tuon. She surprisingly replaced Neferi instead of the Left Hand who was readily trained.

Anghar
Young soldier in Ever Victorious Army in Altara with steady eyes. He was a messenger for Furyk.
Assid Bakuun
Allegiance: The Empress.
Title(s): Captain.
A soldier for thirty years in the Ever Victorious Army.
Bethamin Zeami
Title(s): Sul'dam.
Dark skinned, she was born in the village of Abunai on the sea of L'Heye. She was part of the Hailene. When the Seanchan was being attacked in Falme, she looked for Tuli, wondering about her well being. However instead she found Renna and Seta both collared and unable to free themselves. Realising what this meant, she fled Falme on horse, but was found by Egeanin in Tanchico. Egeanin, a friend of over 10 years, was seeking missing Sul'dam, and also discovered that an a'dam would hold Bethamin. She was held in the basement for some time before Egeanin freed her.
Bethamin was reunited with her compatriots when Tanchico was invaded and has immersed herself completely in her duties in an attempt to forget the truth. She was brought to Ebou Dar, striving to appear the perfect sul'dam, but she was last seen escaping the seekers in Ebou Dar with Mat.
Caban
Allegiance: The Empress.
A soldier with a scar above dark eyes and one on his chin. In his middle years. Only interested in battles, drinking and women.
Charral
Allegiance: The Empress.
Title(s): Damane.
Grey haired and grey eyed damane of Tuon's. She is an agile spinner.
Catrona
Allegiance: The Empress.
Title(s): Sul'dam.
With a stern black face, she is Sul'dam of Mylen.
Chianmai
Title(s): Banner-General.
An Officer in the Ever Victorious Army. Honey brown faced, he died in the battle against Rand when a damane lost control of the One Power.

A female raken handler, who shares riding Segani.
Dali

A plump and yellow haired damane of Tuon's. She is very obedient and sister of Dani.

From Seanchan, she created the first a'dam. She later became damane for Luthair.
Egeanin Tamarath
Allegiance: The Light, The Empress.
Title(s): Captain of the Green, Mistress Elidar.
Hard faced soldier with dark hair cut short and fair skin. Her blue eyes have a cold stare. She is arrogant and intelligent with a hard muscled body. She captured Bayle Domon's ship off Falme.
She was later assigned to look for escaped Sul'dam in Tanchico, wearing dresses with hair to her shoulders. After meeting Elayne and Nynaeve, she was startled at what "Aes Sedai" were really like. She has lost her faith in the Seanchan heirarchy because of this and her discovery that a Sul'dam can learn to channel, through Bethamin.
She left Tanchico, with Bayle Domon and they were on their way to dump the male a'dam when caught by a Seanchan vessel. By handing over the a'dam, she was promoted to the blood, leaving her old name of Sarna behind. When Bayle protested, Egeanin had to buy him back as her so'jhin. They were last seen escaping Ebou Dar and the seekers with Mat. The sigil which came with her new name was a sword and a fouled anchor.
Elbar
Tall with a dark face, a hooked nose and a harsh voice. An officer in the Hailene.
Emela
The favorite doll of Tuon when she was young. She gave it to Furyk Karede when he saved her life. Furyk kept the doll until destroyed by fire ten years later.
Eliya
Title(s): Morat'raken.
She was riding with Chulein, when the Gateway at the Farm exploded and Segani went into a dive. Eliya fell off.
Empress of Seanchan
Allegiance: Herself.
Title(s): Empress of Seanchan.
She holds the Crystal Throne in the Court of the Nine Moons in Seandar. The throne is actually a ter'angreal designed to instill awe and wonder in anyone who approaches, feelings which stay with the person for life. She has a number of children, her second daughter being Tuon. She allowed the Seeker Jalindin to put her son and daughter to the question and was pleased when confessions were wrought from them.
Essonda
Allegiance: The Empress.

The head of the Sul'dam in the Palace in Ebou Dar.
Furyk Karede
Allegiance: The Empress, Tuon.
Title(s): Banner-General of Deathwatch Guard, da'covale.
Forty two years of age, and the son of weavers. He was born the property of Jalid Magonine, and chosen for training as a Deathwatch Guard at 15. After seven years in the Guard, he joined Tuon's bodyguard at her birth. During Tuon's first year, an assasination attempt left only three Guards alive, including Furyk. At this, he was chosen to train as an officer.
He did well at the Muyami Uprising and the Jianmin Incident, and requested transfer back to Tuon's personal bodyguard when she was six, which was granted. A year later, Furyk shielded Tuon with his body, and took three serious wounds. Tuon gave him her favorite posession, a doll, as a thank you. He was then assigned to the Empress's bodyguard until sent with the Hailene. Furyk commanded 2300 Seanchan in the Ever Victorious Army in northern Altara when Rand attacked. He was the only officer to succeed at holding the Asha'man, and as such was promoted to Banner-General. He is now the highest ranking Deathwatch Guard in Randland and based in Ebou Dar. He is now leading 100 Deathwatch Guards, 20 Ogier Gardeners and the 6 of Tuon's damane to search for Tuon.
He has had three sons. Two are in the Deathwatch Guard, and the third is named an Honoured Dead. His wife is Kalia. He doesn't suffer fools at all.
Gille
Title(s): Damane.
Controlled by Nerith, she was in the Ever Victorious Army when Rand attacked them in Altara. She was killed in the fighting.
Huon
Allegiance: Lord Turak, The Empress.
Title(s): Lord of House Aludon, so'jhin.
Half his head was shaved with the other half in a golden braid hanging over his ear down to his shoulder. He wore a robe and slippers. The head servant of Turak, he was totally devoted to his master, pouncing violently on anyone who was insulting in Turak's presence. He was killed by Padan Fain before Falme fell.
Ianelle

Iona

A fool. Short, thin and puffed up with pride. He was the senior Captain under Furyk Karede, until Furyk killed him for being stupid.
Jalid Magonine
A craftsman from Ancarid, Seanchan. He was the owner of Furyk Karede and his parents.
Jalindin
Allegiance: The Empress.
Title(s): Seeker.
A Seeker who was sent to question Sarek. She decided that Morsa was much more interesting with regards to Falme, and other things.
She once questioned the son and daughter of the Empress, and for the confessions she gained, she was allowed to look at (to gaze upon) the Empress.

Kalia Karede
The wife of Furyk Karede.
Kennar Miraj

The Captain General of the Ever Victorious Army and of the Blood, but low standing. The nails of his little fingers were laquered.
Formerly a Scout Lieutenant Morat'raken, he managed to ride 50 miles in one night with three arrows in him to alert Seandar that an army was marching on the city. His reward was being raised to the Blood. He always had pains in his back from that event. He was killed by Rand weilding Callandor in Altara.

A Red haired damane of Tuon's, brought with the Corenne.
Lisaine Jarath
Title(s): Der'sul'dam.
From Seandar, she has grey hair but is animated and bubbly, overflowing with enthusiasm. A friend of Kennar and senior Der'sul'dam under his command.
Luthair Paendrag Mondwin
Allegiance: Artur Paendrag Tanreall, Himself.
Title(s): First Emperor of Seanchan, The Hammar.
The first son of Artur Hawkwing and Takima, he was born in FY 967. He led 300,000 soldiers and settlers across the Arith Ocean in FY 992 to the lands of Seanchan to face the Armies of the Night. After he conquered the lands, he proclaimed himself the first Emperor.
He knew that Sul'dam could be taught to channel, but kept the information secret. His banner is a gold spread winged eagle clutching lightning bolts.

Plump with dark eyes. Captured in Altara and given to Elayne by Rand to deal with. Everyone is trying to convince her she can channel, but she is yet to be convinced.

The former Soe'feia to Tuon before Anath. She fell down some stairs and died two years previous. Her Left Hand was readily trained but Anath was named to replace her instead. Tuon had a good relationship with Neferi.
Nerith

The Sul'dam of Gille.
Renna Emain
Allegiance: The Empress.
Title(s): Sul'dam.
Pretty, with long dark hair and big brown eyes. About ten years older than Nynaeve. She was the Sul'dam of Egwene, and called her Tuli. Nynaeve collared her and Seta and left them on a peg in Falme when they freed Egwene and Min.
The two Sul'dam were discovered by Alwhin, who was promoted to the blood by Suroth to keep the secret. Once she was an unpleasent person, completely self assured and one of the best trainers in the Hailene. She is now bullied by other Sul'dam and not allowed to be completed again. She was last seen escaping this mess and Ebou Dar with Mat. Although she may have just been helping him.
Sarek
A Seanchan who looks above himself, whom the Seekers have taken an interest in. He has designs on Serengada, Dai and Tuel.
Selucia
Allegiance: Tuon, The Empress.
Title(s): Shadow, So'jhin.
Beautiful, she has golden hair and cream skin with blue eyes and very large breasts. She is quite short and her head is half shaved. She has a dignified and commanding presence, that she would never think to utilise.
The nursemaid of Tuon and trainer, she herself trained for 25 years in preparation for the job. She chose to remain Tuon's chief servant, dresser and body guard.
When Tuon was kidnapped by Mat, Selucia went along to protect her. Her head is now fully shaved.

Very proud, with tightly curled black hair. She is one of Tuon's damane and the strongest of hers with the Corenne.
Serrisa

A Damane belonging to Egeanin. She likes honeyed nuts, but was left in Cantorin.
Seta Zarbey
Allegiance: The Empress.

Left behind after Falme, she was hunted by Egeanin. She looks much like Nynaeve except a head taller.

Title(s): High Lady of the Blood, Leader of the Hailene, Lady of Asinbayar, Lady of Barsabba.
Favorite Saying: On the heights, the paths are paved with daggers.
Long black hair with the sides of her scalp shaven. Her fingernails are an inch long with the the first two fingers of each hand laquered blue. A Darkfriend. When the Seanchan forces were thrown out of Falme, she rallied as many of the forces as possible and prepared to conquer the nations again. She managed to conquer Tarabon, Amadicia and much of Altara, before the Corenne arrived.

Tauan

A raken handler who was riding over the Farm with Macu when their raken was killed by everyone at the Farm.

The Captain of The Victory of Kidron. She is wide and weathered with white hair and green eyes.

Tall and bony with a beard on the end of his chin. An officer in the Ever Victorious Army under Assid Bakuun. A good soldier full of confidence.
Turak
Allegiance: The Empress.
Title(s): High Lord of the Blood, Who leads Those Who Come Before and Succors the Return, Blademaster.
Of the Blood, with his shaved bald, fingernails an inch long and his index fingernails laquered blue. He looks soft, but is as hard as iron and cold hearted. He likes collecting cuendiller and has a collection second only to the Empress. He was killed by Rand and his luck just before the Seanchan were pushed back into the sea.
Tuon Athaem Kore Paendrag
Allegiance: The Empress.
Title(s): Daughter of the Nine Moons.
Second daughter of the Empress of Seanchan. Completely bald, and shaven every day by Selucia since turning 16. Quite slim, almost tiny, she has dark skin with a beautiful but childish heart shaped face and large brown eyes. All her nails are laquered bright red.
She was always headstrong and difficult as a child. She is a great wrestler and rider and good with weapons. She was taught from a young age to battle for her mother's affection, only seeing her mother twice per year. Two siblings have died from these struggles and three have tried to kill Tuon. Also one brother and one sister have been made da'covale and stricken from the records.
Tuon has the ability to learn how to channel, enjoying training both horses and damane. She has a good relationship with her Shadow, but is slightly afraid of her Soe'feia. Her personal banner is of two golden lions harnessed to a war cart.
Varek

Yamada
Allegiance: The Empress.
Title(s): Banner-General, Deathwatch Guard, Lord.
Tall and pleasent looking with a bluff face. He wears three thin black plumes on the front of his helmet. A great singer, he married Riselle.

The sharp nosed secretary to Tuon. He is also her Hand, commanding her seekers.
Zakai
