Davram t'Ghaline Bashere
Allegiance: The Light, The Dragon Reborn, Queen Tenobia.
Title(s): Marshal General to Queen Tenobia of Saldaea, Guardian of the Blight Border, Defender of the Heartland, Lord of Bashere, Lord of Tyr, Lord of Sidona.
Slender and short with a hooked beak of a nose and dark tilted eyes. He has grey streaking his black hair and a thick mustache turned down like curved horns. He has an ivory rod, capped with a wolf's head thrust behind his belt.
The sigal of House Bashere is three red kingspenny blossoms on blue. Kingspenny never die - nothing can kill them. He means what he says and brooks no nonsense from trouble makers.
After Mazrim Taim escaped, Tenobia sent her uncle Davram with 9000 cavelry to hunt Taim down and make certain he never bothered Saldaea again. This brought him to Caemlyn where he joined Rand and became one of his generals.
The uncle of Tenobia, and father of Faile. His wife is Deira.
Deira ni Ghaline t'Bashere
Allegiance: The Light, Davram.
Title(s): Lady of Bashere, Lady of Tyr, Lady of Sidona.
A big woman, she is a hand taller than her husband with a commanding presence. Her hair is raven coloured with wings of white. She doesn't approve of following Rand, but will follow her husband.
The aunt of Tenobia, and mother of Faile.
Eran
An old soldier who became the footman to Faile before she ran away. He taught her how to use knives and to fight with her hands.
Hachari
A part of Davram Bashere's army, he and Musar with their wives tried to kill Mazrim Taim under a parley flag, all four pulling daggers on him. Mazrim changed them so that all they wish to do is serve and obey.
Hadnan Kadere
Allegiance: The Dark One.
A heavy set man, of mostly fat who could move spryly for his size. A hooked beak of a nose and dark tilted eyes on a square swarthy face. His eyes had a preditory look that were cold and unchanging. He constantly sweats.
Growing up in Saldaea, his sister Teodra taught him his letters and numbers. He took his vows as a Darkfriend when still a boy. When Teodra found out what he was, he was forced to kill her.
A peddler, he was sent into the waste with his partner Isendre. He was contacted by two Darkfriends whom he thought were high up in the council but who were actually Lanfear and Asmodean.
He has worked all around the world including in Tar Valon. When he realised that Isendre had been broken by the Maidens, he killed her. As with all Darkfriends, murder is probably the least of his crimes.
When Lanfear found out Rand had slept with Aviendha, she removed Hadnan's skin whole.
Hamad
Allegiance: Davram Bashere.
He has a dark beard and mustaches with green tilted eyes. A horseman under Bashere.
Jidar
A horseman under Davram Bashere.
Kalayan Ramsin
Allegiance: The Light, Tenobia Kazadi.
Title(s): Advisor to Queen Tenobia.
Scarred, grizzled and leathery, he has an eagle's face with thick mustaches that curve down around his mouth. An uncle of Tenobia's. He is attracted to Ethenielle.
Merya
A woman that Elyas Machera lived with for a year. She left him because he was dull.
Maedin Bashere
The brother of Faile, two years younger. He is now being taught by Davram how to be a soldier.
Muad Cheade
Allegiance: The Light, Saldaea.
Title(s): Marshal General the King of Saldaea, Guardian of the Blight Border, Defender of the Heartland.
He was one of the greatest Generals, never losing a battle, or even coming close but was "mad as a hare in a spring thaw."
Muad was conviced his servant was trying to poison him and only drank vinegar and water as an antedote. He searched his manservant everyday for the poison. He once had a grove of oaks chopped down because they were looking at him. He then had all 23 buried, giving the oration himself.
Musar

A horseman under Davram Bashere.
Tenobia Kazadi
Allegiance: The Light, Herself.
Title(s): The Queen of Saldaea, Lady of Shahayni, Lady of Asnelle, Lady of Kunwar, Lady of Ganai.
In her mid twenties, she is tall and perhaps pretty, with a narrow waist and a round bosom. She has deep dark blue or purple large tilted eyes and an overbold beak of a nose and a wide mouth. She has an extreme confidence and a wildfire temper that can flare at any moment. Tenobia loves to shock Domani but only has soldiers as counsellors.
Young and very strong headed and stubborn. If she decides to do something, there is only one person able get her to see reason: Davram Bashere, her uncle. The same person who put the Broken Crown on her head. Her cousin is Faile.
Her requirements for a husband: able to face and slay 12 foes at once, play the harp and compose poetry. He must be extremely intellegent, and a great horseman. He must defer to her except when she doesn't want it and he must know when to be dominant.
Tenobia, along with Ethenielle, Paitar and Easar, went on an expedition together taking half their armies with them. They exchanged their blood with the earth, binding themselves together, "one to the death."
Teodra Kadere
Allegiance: The Light.
The sister of Hadnan, she taught him is letters and numbers. But when she discovered Hadnan's allegiances, he killed her.
Terayne
A Saldaean girl from Mehar. Her father is a merchant and wants a soldier for a son-in-law.
Tumad Ahzkan
Allegiance: Davram Bashere.
Heavy shouldered and hatchet nosed. He is young with thick mustaches, a luxuriant black beard and bowed legs. A horseman under Davram Bashere.
Vilnar Barada
Allegiance: The Light, Davram Bashere.
Title(s): Under Lieutenant, Swordsworn to Lord Davram Bashere.
Black beard. Saldaean horsman under Bashere who would like to marry Terayne.
Zarine ni Bashere t'Aybara
Allegiance: The Light, Perrin Aybara.
Title(s): Faile, Lady of House Bashere, Mandarb.
Tall for a woman, with black hair to her shoulders. A nose that is not quite bold, and a generous mouth. High cheek bones and slightly titled dark eyes. Slim with a high voice and a flat way of speaking. She always has a light fresh herbal scent.
She is the eldest daughter of Davram and Deira Bashere, and had to learn to run the estates, with regard to administration. Bored silly with this, she had her footman Eran teach her how to use knives and fight with her hands. She later ran away from home to become a Hunter of the Horn. She took the Oath in the Square of Tammaz and went searching for the Horn, thinking to find it in Manetheren. On her way there, she met Perrin in Reimon and watched him carve up Whitecloaks. She decided he was very interesting and followed him. She has been with him ever since.
She soon fell in love with Perrin, and in The Two Rivers, she married him. She is strong willed, and tough. She can be polite, but has a tongue that flays when neccessary. She is very jealous, and therefore she hates Berelain. She expects Perrin to know just what to say and do at all times.
She calls herself Faile, Falcon, because her father called her this when she was young. She is totally devoted to her husband, but can be less than honorable at times.
While Perrin was rescuing Rand, she gathered the young Cairhienin nobles from one of the wetlander societies and made them her own, calling them Cha Faile - Falcon's Talon. All the members swore fealty to Faile. She has since been taken gai'shain by Shaido in Amadicia.
Zavion Gahaur
Allegiance: Deira Bashere.
Title(s): Lady of Gahaur.
A sinewy and red haired attendant of Deira Bashere. She is with the Saldaean army in Andor.
