Female innkeeper of Easing the Badger in Illian's perfumed Quarter. Stout, with her hair rolled at the back of her head. She has sharp eyes and had been eyes and ears for Moiraine for twelve years. She is also an old friend of Bayle Domon.
Her inn is quiet and well lit, a place where sailors and others can have some quiet time. She allows no commotion in her common room, letting Bili handle security.
When she was young she sang and danced as a performer. She doesn't believe in snow or trollocs. The last time Moiraine went through Illian, she ordered Nieda to leave the city as soon as possible, fearing that Sammael would find her.
