Aedwin Cole
A none too steady crewman from Bayle Domon's Spray.
Agni Neres
Title(s): Captain.
Tall and bony with a narrow face and big ears. He has a grumpy look and thin lips.
A smuggler, he is the Captain of the ship that took Nynaeve, Elayne and company from Samara to Salidar. He has a wife and children in Ebou Dar, but has a large dislike for women. Therefore he doesn't visit his family much. His trip with Nynaeve only reinforced his prejudices.
Bayle Domon
Allegiance: The Light, Himself, Those in need.
Title(s): Captain.
Favorite Saying: Usually a fervent curse to do with his aged grandmother.
Stocky with long hair that falls on his thick shoulders. A round, hard face with a beard that leaves his upper lip bear. A broad and muscular man with broad hands. He enjoys collecting old things and seeing the sights of the world. He likes to do all the tricky sailing on his ship himself.
A former Captain and the owner of Spray, he did alot of trade along the rivers, until he bought one of the Dark One's seals in Maradon (without knowing what it was) and was chased by shadowspawn and darkfriends all the way to Illian. He started sailing on the open sea, but was captured by Seanchan. He managed to escape Falme during the evacuation, and later had a fleet of smuggling ships working out of Tanchico.
Bayle is a difficult captain, but he makes good profits and shares them with his crew. He also helps out the needy when he can. This makes those around him loyal. He tried to save Nynaeve and Elayne in Falme, but ended up helping them later in Tanchico instead.
After Tanchico, he was planning to move his fleet away and managed to leave with Egeanin, looking to drop the male a'dam into the sea. However when a Seanchan vessel approached, they surrendered giving over the a'dam and effectively promoting Egeanin to Captain of the Green. Bayle, however protested, and was taken prisoner and sold as da'covale. Luckily Egeanin managed to purchase him and made him so'jhin, which he had trouble adapting to. He and Egeanin escaped Ebou Dar and the seekers with Mat, travelling with Valan Luca's show. Bayle has shaved his head to avoid notice.
Canin
Title(s): Captain.
The very round Captain of Darter with a long face. He took Egwene, Elayne and Nynaeve to Tear.
Carn
A crew member of Spray. He was tortured with knives and then killed by Darkfriends as a warning to Bayle Domon while in Illian.
Chin Ellisor
Title(s): Captain.
Captain of the Snow Goose, he was born and bred in Tar Valon.
Derne
Title(s): Captain.
The square faced captian of Swift, that took Mat and Thom from Aringill to Tear as fast as he possibly could. He was well paid for it, but won't take human passengers again. He doesn't like dicing.
Elver Shaene
Skinny with a thin fringe of hair. The long boat owner in Cairhien with a Murandian coat who took Rand and entourage to the Sea Folk Ship.
Floran Gelb
Narrow faced weasel who is a bit slow. A wimp, a liar and an idoit, he was formerly a sailor for Bayle Domon. Being lazy and sleeping on the job, he was soon put off Bayle's ship.
He later turned up in Tanchico, collecting a'dams and looking for runaway Sul'dams for Egeanin.
Jaim Adarra
Title(s): Captain.
Captain of the Blue Crane. A short, slight man who tilts his head to one side when he is listening.
Huan Mallia
Allegiance: The High Lords.
Title(s): Captain.
Tall, with pale blue eyes and a dark narrow beard cut to a point on a narrow face. The captain of the Gray Gull, he took Mat and Thom to Aringill. He has sailed the rivers all his life, but dreams of sailing on the open sea. He hates any country but Tear, hates Aes Sedai, and likes what High Lord Samon has to say.
Sanor
An extremely large man, with shoulders as big as Perrin. A sailor on the Gray Gull.
Vasa
An extremely large man, with shoulders as big as Perrin. A sailor on the Gray Gull.
Yarin Maeldan
Title(s): Second officer on Spray.
A former Second to Bayle Domon, who looked somewhat like a stork. He was always brooding and looking at the dark side of things.
