A male wolf from Dapple's pack. He has an old scar on his shoulder made by a trolloc when he was young. He hates trollocs and likes killing them. Anything else is a waste of time, especially human toubles.
Cold Water

Dapple
Allegiance: The Light, Her pack.
A female wolf and pack leader. She has fur that fades through a dozen different shades of grey, dark and light. She isn't as physically strong as other pack members but is smarter than the rest. Dapple doesn't like being away from her pack for long, but understands duty.
The name Dapple actually means: The way shadows play on a forest pool and the tang of ice when the water touches the tongue and a hint of snow before nightfall in the air. But not quite.
She believes that she will meet Perrin again one day in a preordained meeting.
Elyas Machera
Allegiance: The Light, Wolves.

Favorite Saying: Take life as it comes: run when you have to, fight when you must, relax when you can.
A lean and sunbrowned man with long greying brown hair which hangs to his waist, and gathered at the back of his neck with a cord. He also has a thick beard across half his chest and bright polished golden yellow eyes.
His clothes are all made of animal skins with the fur still on including his boots and his flat topped hat. His cloak is a crazy quilt of rabbit and squirrel. His trousers are the long haired hide of brown and white goat. He has a long knife - almost a sword - hanging at his waist and a bow and quiver.
Elyas is able to talk to and comunicate with wolves, he lives with wolves, shunning human kind. When the Red Ajah found out he could talk to wolves, they tried to gentle him. He told them to their faces they were Black Ajah, and had to kill two Warders escaping.
A former Warder himself, continuing to be bonded to Rina, he taught Lan Mandragoran alot about the world and the blight. He listens to his intuition, which saves his life regularly. He found Egwene and Perrin on their way to Caemlyn and led them towards safety. As the wolves of Dapple's pack started communicating with Perrin, Elyas assisted with his transition.
He is bit scornful of Tinkers who do not understand his violent way of life, but generally has a live and let live attitude as long as he is not bothered.
He was separated from Perrin by the Whitecloaks in the stedding and injured trying to escape them. He later turned up in Perrin's camp in Ghealdan and has travelled with the group to Amadicia to help with the Prophet. He is now assisting to track Faile. Having also once had a relationship with a Saldaean woman, he understands Perrin better than most.
Feather
A wolf in Leafhunter's pack, in Altara.
Half Tail
A sour male who leads a pack. He helped free Shadowkiller.
Hopper
A male wolf from Dapple's pack. A scarred and grizzled fighter, impassive with the knowledge of many years, and with much guile.
Hopper was very loyal to Dapple, and his life became a readiness to protect her. As a cub he watched the eagles fly and wished to do the same. He practiced leaping until he was better than any other wolf, and never lost the yearning to soar.
He was killed by The Children of The Light while saving the lives of Perrin and Egwene, and now acts as a guide for Perrin in the Wolf dream.
Leafhunter
A she-wolf, and leader of a pack in Altara. She is quietly certain.
Morning Clouds
A young male in Wildfire's pack. He helped free Shadowkiller.
Morning Mist
She came to the camp of the Dragon Reborn to help in the trolloc attack. Her name means: A frosty morning with the bite of snows yet to come already in the air, and the mist curling thick accross the valley, swirling with the sharp breeze that carried the promise of good hunting.

A young and fierce male who helped free Shadowkiller.

Two Moons
A dignified old male wolf with his muzzle half white, who leads a pack. His name: Night shrouded pool smooth as ice in the instant before the breeze stirred, with a tang of Autumn in the air, and one moon full and the other reflected on water making it look like two. He helped free Shadowkiller.
White Tail
A wolf in Leafhunter's pack, in Altara.
Wind
A male wolf from Dapple's pack. He sometimes questions the wisdom of Dapple, but was too afraid of Hopper to do anything against her. He often believes in Burn's philosophy of leaving human troubles to humans.
