Tall and broad shouldered with flame coloured hair. Short of his middle years, he is fiercly proud and very emotional, mostly displaying anger and hate. Considered flawed within by Wise Ones.
Asmodean put the dragons on his forearms, and in his arrogance (and Sevanna's) he proclaimed himself the Chief of Chiefs. Many spears who couldn't handle the truth about the history of the Aiel went to Couladin. With approximately 100 thousand spears he set off to ravage and loot the world. He had Cairhien under siege when Rand came and beat him in battle. During the battle, he was killed by Mat.
Darin

Title(s): Shae'en M'taal, Stone Dog.
The son of Maeric. He died in Illian when Caddar transported his sept there. His mother was Dyrele and his eldest sister was Suraile.
Doilan
Allegiance: Shaido Clan.

Dyrele
Allegiance: Moshaine Sept, Shaido Clan.
The wife of Maeric and a clear thinker. She died in Illian when Caddar transported her sept there. She had children, amongst whom were Darin and Suraile.
Gharadin

Title(s): Gai'shain.

Hamal
Allegiance: Moshaine Sept, Shaido Clan.
Title(s): Blacksmith.
He was taken to Illian when Caddar transported his sept there.
Kinhuin
Title(s): Mera'din, Brotherless.
Wise green eyes and full lips. From a clan aligned to Rand, he left to join the Shaido because he couldn't follow a wetlander. In Amadicia with Jumai Shaido.
Laerad
Allegiance: Moshaine Sept, Shaido Clan.
Title(s): Duadhe Mahdi'in, Water Seeker.
Grizzled and grey haired. He died in Illian when Caddar transported his sept there.
Maeric
Allegiance: Moshaine Sept, Shaido Clan.
Title(s): Chief Moshaine Sept, Seia Doon, Black Eyes.
Blocky. The Shaido leader of Black Eyes. He died in Illian when Caddar transported his sept there. The husband of Dyrele, his son was Darin and his eldest daughter was Suraile.
Muradin
Allegiance: Shaido Clan.
First brother to Couladin, he went to Ruidean to become the Clan Chief of Shaido. In the glass columns, he tore his eyes out at what he saw, and bit his tongue off. Unable to handle the truth about the Aiel, he never came out of the ter'angreal.
Nadric
Allegiance: Shaido Clan.
The Shaido man who tried to rape Faile until Rolan stepped in.
Rodera
Allegiance: Shaido Clan.
Gai'shain of Sorilea taken in the Shaido War.
Rolan
Title(s): Mera'din, Brotherless.
As wide as Perrin and a head taller with blue eyes. He was Faile's leash holder after her capture. From a clan aligned to Rand, he left to join the Shaido because he couldn't follow a wetlander. He now has a thing for Faile.
Sevanna
Allegiance: Jumai Sept, Shaido Clan.
Title(s): Clan Shaido Roofmistress.
Short and pretty with golden hair and pale green eyes. But she has a greedy mouth and her eyes are calculating. She is wily and untrustworthy and extremely greedy.
She always loved Couladin, but married Suladric to become the wife of a Clan Chief and Roofmistress. When Suladric died, she latched onto Muradin until he didn't return from Ruidean. She finally turned to Couladin and supported him as He Who Comes With the Dawn.
When he died, she took control of the Shaido acting as the Chief, but never intending to send another to Ruidean. She was also accepted as a Wise One. She arranged for Desaine's death when she didn't support her. She plotted to kidnap Rand and have him as her husband, but eventually caused the Shaido to be scattered across the world by Sammael.
Now with the Jumai Sept and all the channeling Shaido Wise Ones in Amadicia, she wears rich wetlander clothes, with gems on every finger and rides horses. She also arranged for twice as many Mera'din as Jumai to follow her sept. Sevanna is being overthrown by Thereva and Someryn.
Suladric
Allegiance: Shaido Clan.
Title(s): Clan Chief of Shaido.
Former, and last Chief of the Shaido. Now dead. His wife was Sevanna.
