As big as her husband, Haral, and almost as strong as him, but with a much worse temper.
Brandelwyn al'Vere
Allegiance: The Light, Lord Aybara, Emonds Field.
Title(s): Mayor of Emonds Field, Head of Village Council.
Nearly double the girth of any other person in Emonds Field with a round face, sparse grey hair and a bluff voice. Despite his size he can move with surprising lightness.
He is always calm and straight thinking, rarely losing his temper, although Cenn Buie can test him. Like all Two Rivers people, he can be stubborn.
He has been the mayor for more than twenty years and is the innkeeper of the Winespring Inn in Emonds Field along with his wife, Marin. They have three daughters, one of whom is Egwene.
Cenn Buie
Allegiance: The Light, Lord Aybara.
Title(s): Village Councillor of Emonds Field.
Favorite Saying: Anything negative or gossipy.
Narled and scrawny village thatcher, he isn't quite ninety years old. A gossip regulaly complaining about trivial problems. He rarely sees reason, with only Haral Luhhan being able to get through to him. He is also superstitious, often spreading rumors and believing rumors he hears. He is considered to be not quite as bad as a Congar or Coplin.
Corin Ayellin
Allegiance: The Light.
Title(s): Member Womens Circle of Emonds Field.
Slim, with a thick grey braid that hangs below her hips. She bakes the best sweets in Emond's Field and gives them out freely.
Daise Congar
Allegiance: The Light, Lord Aybara.
Title(s): Wisdom of Emonds Field.
As tall as most men and wider, she has a hard face and not an ounce of fat on her. Like a bull with a mean streak and a temper. She pushes people around to where she wants them being even more pushy than Nynaeve! The wife of Wit Congar, she became wisdom after Nynaeve left Emonds Field.
Doral Barran
Allegiance: The Light.
Title(s): Wisdom of Emonds Field.
The Wisdom of Emonds Field before Nynaeve. She taught Nynaeve all her skills, and was the oldest woman in the Two Rivers. She was frail with white hair, but still had clear eyes and didn't stoop. No doubt she had Slowed somewhat.
Edelle Gaelin

Slender with a grey braid.
Elwinn Taron
Allegiance: The Light.
Title(s): Wisdom of Devon Ride.
The current Wisdom of Devon Ride, she is short and round with a pleasent motherly smile.
Haral Luhhan
Allegiance: The Light, Lord Aybara.
Title(s): Blacksmith, Village Councillor of Emonds Field.
A very tall and large muscular man: arms as big as most mens legs and roped with heavy muscles. The only man able to get Cenn Buie to see reason.
The Blacksmith of Emonds Field, he once had Perrin as an apprentice. He is very skilled, with the work he does amounting to that of a Master. He lives next to the village forge with his wife, Alsbet Luhhan.
Jerinvar Barstere
Allegiance: The Light.
Title(s): Mayor of Watch Hill.
Wide nosed with a leathery face and white hair. He brought Watch Hill to help at the battle of Emonds Field.
Jon Thane
Allegiance: The Light, Lord Aybara.
Title(s): Village Councillor of Emonds Field.
Owner of Emonds Field mill, which is located by the winespring water. He expects good work the first time. Full of snap when ordering his workers around. The brother of Berin and father of Lem.
Marin al'Vere
Allegiance: The Light, Lord Aybara.
Title(s): Member Womens Circle of Emonds Field.
Slender with a thick braid of grey hair, she smells of baking and roses. Motherly to young people in the village.She generally keeps her opinions to herself yet when her mind is set, she is very stubborn.
Known as the best cook in Emonds Field, but she is most famous for her crusty loaves. Her husband is Brandelwyn and is mother to three daughters, one of whom is Egwene.
Mavra Mallen
Allegiance: The Light.
Title(s): Wisdom of Devon Ride.
The former Wisdom of Devon Ride, she filled in as Wisdom of Emonds Field while Nynaeve was away for a few weeks. Went back to Devon Ride when Daise was chosen as the new Wisdom.
Milla al'Azar
Allegiance: The Light.
Title(s): Wisdom of Taren Ferry.
Young and inexperienced, she became the Wisdom of Taren Ferry when it was resettled after Trollocs levelled it. She is uncertain around the other Wisdoms.
Rowan Hurn
Allegiance: The Light.
Title(s): Village Councillor of Emonds Field.

Samel Crawe

Father of Bandry Crawe.
Tamlin al'Thor
Allegiance: The Light.

A thick chest and broad shoulders help to give the impression of solidness about him - like an earthquake wouldn't knock him off his feet. His face is broad with sun-roughened cheeks which are lined. There is alot grey amongst his black hair.
The best bowman in the Two Rivers and one of the best trackers, as well as a pretty darn good quarterstaff fighter, second only to Abell Cauthon. He represents the farmers from around Emond's Field on the Village Council.
As a young man he ran away from Emonds Field seeking adventure. He joined the Illian army and served in the Whitecloak war, as well as the last two wars between Illian and Tear. Later he fought in the Battle of the Shining Walls against the Aiel. He rose up though the ranks of the army to become Second Captain of the Companions. Meanwhile he became a very accomplished swordsman, a blademaster, and obtained an Aes Sedai wrought heron marked sword. Which he later gave to Rand.
Before aquiring the sword, he met Kari, a woman from Caemlyn whom he married. During Blood Snow, he found Rand lying in the arms of a dead Shaiel on Dragonmount. After the Aiel war, he returned home with Rand and Kari, and settled down to become a farmer. Tam and Kari raised Rand until Kari died, and then Tam raised him alone until Bel Tine 998NE.
